WINNIPEG, MB: East Kildonan Dental Group, a dental clinic serving Winnipeg and the surrounding area, is proud to announce that it sponsored the Punjab Pavilion at the 2025 Folklorama Festival.
Folklarama is a Winnipeg cultural festival; this was the 54th year that the festival has been hosted. The festival took place across many different venues, celebrating the unique cultures that come together to form Winnipeg.
This year, the Punjab Pavilion was held at Waterford Springs School at 2090 Jefferson Ave., from August 3rd to August 9th. The event featured live music and dancing, traditional Punjabi attire, and traditional Punjabi cuisine, including saag, chana masala, chicken masala, curry with naan bread, kadhi, samosas, tandoori chicken, aloo tikki, and pakora.
Dr. Supinder Lotay (Supi), a dentist at East Kildonan Dental Group, commented on the importance of supporting cultural events in Winnipeg: “I was born and raised in Winnipeg, but I am fortunate to speak Punjabi, and fortunate to stay connected to my roots,” said Dr. Lotay. “Folklarama is a truly incredible festival, celebrating the unique cultural mosaic that makes Winnipeg such a great place to live.
